TO AVOID GETTING HIT BY THE OPPONENT WITH BATS, THE PITCHERS HAVE TO STAY AT THE SAFETY ZONE LINE, 4 FEET BEHIND THE BASE.
* BASE DIAMETER – 18 INCHES, 45 CENTIMETERS.
MIDDLE FIELD – THE POINT WHERE PLAYERS CROSS THEIR BATS AND END THE MATCH – MIDDLE FIELD IS BETWEEN OF THE 2 BASES, 25 FEET, 8 YARDS, 7.62 METERS.
INFRACTION CHARGES – ALL VIOLATIONS WILL BE CHARGED AT THE MIDDLE FIELD MARK.
Batsball is a bat-and-ball game played in the field with two bases and one tower on each base.
The game is played between two opposing teams with six players each team. But only 2 players of each team play per set of the game who take turns batting and fielding.
There are 3 sets of the games which means, each team needs to have 2 different players to play one full set per game with no substitution.
Batsball is a unique sport team that gives each player equal opportunity.
All the players have to be a pitcher, hitters and catcher.
The hitters stay in the base, they have to protect the golden tower from the pitchers.
The pitchers have to knock the golden tower down, so they can take over the bat from the opponent to become a batters and the other team became hitters.
The game proceeds when a player on the fielding team called pitcher, throws a ball aim at the golden tower which a player on the batting team tries to hit the ball with a bat so the batters can switch the base and score points.
Each team of 6 has one Captain, the Captain divides the players in doubles as a partner.
Each partners of the team play one full set of the game.
Each partners play against a team of two players on the other team.
Each game is divided 3 sets of 24 point plus last hit.
Each set is divided in 3 period.
Period 1 = to finish the first period the batting players have to score 12 points.
Period 2 = to finish the second period the batting players have to score another 12 points.
Period 3 = to win the set, the batting players needs only one last hit. After the hit, both batting players have to meet in the middle of the field to win the set.
The winner of the set had score 24 plus one point extra for the victory.
To win the game the team has to win all 3 sets, if not, to know who is the winner of the game is, the points have to be added at the end of the game.
Example:
Team A – 24*1 X 20 Team B
Team A – 24*1 X 22 Team B
Team A – 6 X 24*1 Team B
*1 = 1 extra point for the victory
Team A = 56
Team B = 67
Then the team A won 2 sets and team B only 1 set.
When you add all the numbers for each team you see that team B scores more points than team A.
Then the team B is the winner.
Each set matters.
That’s the beauty of the batsball game, each Set matters and all the players has a chance to play and score their own personal points.
So the statistic will be fair for all players.
To be the best you have to be the best of the best, period!!
All the games will be organized by the NBL-USA.
They will provided a referee.
Referees will be trained and oriented with all the rules of the game.
Complains by the players will be punished with loss of the points and even disqualification.
The referee will have one assistant. The assistant will be responsible for the scores of the match.
If the pitchers reach the goal, knocking down the golden tower, as a prize, 4 points will be computed for the red team and takeover of the bat.
The red team will become batters and the blue team will become pitchers.
The pitcher throws the ball and the batter hits the ball and the pitcher catch the ball in the air. As a reward 4 points to the red team plus takeover of the bats.
The red team will become a batters and the blue team will become the pitchers.
Another way will be “strike out” beamed the hitters with the ball.
In the same situation of the game the hitters can be strike out.
The hitter cannot remove the bat from the base. If it happens, the pitcher can strike out the hitter.
As a reward the red team take over the bats, The red team will became a batters and the blue team will became the pitchers.
Only after the pitcher release the ball the hitter can lift the bat to hit the ball.
When the hitter hits the ball they need switch the base, if the pitcher catches the ball before the hitters exchange the base the hitters can be beamed because they are out of the base.
The pitcher can beamed the hitters or the tower.
As a reward the red team take over the bats, The red team will became a batters and the blue team will became the pitchers.
Another way to take over of the bats is to cause the hitters make mistakes.
If the batter hits the ball thrown by the opponent and the ball goes behind to his base 3 times the pitchers take over of the bats without an extra points.

In this illustration, the hitter failed in his attempt to hit the ball, the ball has to pass the yellow line to be a good hit, the pitcher can intercept the ball. After 3 interceptions the pitcher has the right to give the shot from the midfield.
As a punishment the hitter has to stick with the bat raised waiting for the shot. Increasing the pitcher’s chance to take down the golden tower.
The Goal of the hitters is to protect the gold towers.
When a player on the fielding team called pitcher, throws a ball which a player on the batting team tries to hit with a bat.
Each throw of the pitchers the hitters have a chance to hit the ball as far as possible having the opportunity to switch the base.
Each time the hitters exchange base gets 2 points and they can reach 12 points maximum. By reaching 12 points there is the exchange of goals, the hitters become pitchers giving the game opportunity for pitchers to become hitters.
